Adult Induction
This is a 2 hour
course with a Rock Antics Instructor for adults and juniors (16 yrs + ) where you will be taught all the skills
required to climb in an indoor wall (top-roping only). Warming up and cooling down exercises, Belay using various devices,
Tie the figure 8 knot, Anchors, Harness fitting, Climbing techniques, the grading system, Bouldering. The course includes
all equipment hire, the registration fee and you will receive a registration card at the end of the session.

For Aged 14 or 15 years
Parental Consent needed.
Details as above but spread over a longer period to ensure safety issues have being fully understood. To enable
candidates to obtain a Green card.
Please note a membership card is issued at the discretion of the Instructor

Step Ants
6-9 years inc.
A climbing club suitable for children aged 6-9 years inclusive.
A good introduction to climbing to encourage
young aspiring climbers.
5.00pm - 6.30pm, Friday nights
(Payment required one week in advance)
Junior Club
10-13 years inc.
Rock Ants Junior Club teaches youngsters the basic safety elements required.
Saturdays: 10.30am - 12.00noon
1.00pm - 2.30pm
Sundays: 10.30am - 12.00noon
(Payment is required one week in advance when booking on
a weekly basis)
